What you need:
- Glow sticks
- Glitter
- Mason Jars (or any type of jar really)
Pretty simple.
Step one: Break the glow sticks and shake them up to get them to start glowing.
Step two: Break open the glow sticks with scissors (be careful, it stains your clothes!)
Step three: Add glitter.
Step four: Close up the jar and shake it around.
Step five: Turn off the lights and watch those bad boys glow.
I've literally spent so much time on Pinterest, pinning and repinning DIY arts and crafts that I want to do and haven't done them yet. I was pretty proud of myself when I found this one.
Ok, so here's the deal - what the hell do you do with them?
These jars last four to six hours depending how great of glow sticks you purchased. You can, play with them? Use them as a temporary night light? Have them be center pieces, but make sure your event only lasts for 4 hours and have an alternated light method? Create a pathway with them for the grand entrance? Then afterwards you have awesome jars that basically look like this...
